Loved Shaun Tan in conversation with Nicolette Jones at the British Library this evening.  Although I have long been an admirer of his books, I have never seen him before and have heard him described as modest, self-effacing and shy so I was surprised and pleased that he was able to speak so fluently, humorously and clearly about his life and work.

This was part of 'Wonderlands: A Festival of International Writing for Children' that is taking place over the weekend at the British Library.
